Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tulsa and then received her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the University of Kansas in 2019. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Laura has been practicing ABA since 2019, first as a Registered Behavior Technician and then as a BCBA. She works with children on the Autism Spectrum beginning at two years of age  as well as young adults. She has worked both in clinical, home, and school settings, helping children manage intense behaviors and also assists in developing independent living and social skills with her clients. Laura focuses on helping both parents and children address behavioral concerns in the home and at school, and teaches organizational, social, and healthy living skills. She frequently uses a behavioral approach with clients who do not have a diagnosis of Autism to help them reach their goals using a strength based model.

Laura also specializes in working with children and adults who have a diagnosis of ADHD to help minimize the impact while also embracing a person's neurodiversity and strengths. Many college students find working with her immensely helpful as they learn to juggle college and adulting.

Laura is also skilled in helping adults reach their goals and changing, giving up or sticking with certain behaviors such as exercising, eating healthy, sticking to a schedule, getting organized, etc.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to different countries, and watching movies.
