Jennifer (she/her/hers) holds a Master of Social Work from Florida State University and is a registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida. She has a strong background in both education and clinical mental health services. Her qualifications include a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor certificate, and she holds a State of Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate for school social work. She provides individual therapy to adults, college students, and adolescents.
Her experience includes working in schools supporting students and families by providing early intervention for at-risk youth and working with a community mental health center in Acute Care/Emergency Services. With a history of working in a variety of community settings—including mental health centers, schools, and family services—Jennifer has developed expertise in social skills support, parenting and family support, crisis counseling, effective communication, and commitment to helping others. She also has served in various roles in a variety of community service groups. Her broad experience in education, mental health, social work, and community service underscores her ability to connect with diverse individuals and help them navigate challenging situations.
In her sessions, Jennifer prioritizes empathy, strength-based focus, and a person-centered approach and seeks to create a safe and empowering environment for clients. She understands that each individual is unique, bringing their own experiences, strengths, and challenges into the therapeutic process. She approaches each session with the core belief that clients are the experts of their own lives, capable of growth and change, and deserving of respect and understanding.
